This weekend was perfect to enjoy such a great smoke. It was 75 degrees sitting out at the lake on the boat house kicking back with an adult beverage. It didn’t get much better than that, until I pulled out a Padron Anniversary. This cigar is what most aficionados deem the best of the best.
The cigar itself has a nice oily sheen and flawless wrapper. There are no visible veins and the cap was perfect. The pre light aroma is of cocoa and cedar, with a bit of caramel. The cut of the cap was flawless with my Xikar Xi and I lit the cigar up with my Xikar Element. The first third I had flavors of caramel and chocolate. The second and last third there were notes of sweetness and caramel throughout.
The cigar burned flawlessly and never ran on me. I smoked it until it burnt my fingers. I would recommend this cigar to all smokers regardless of their preference.

In my eyes there is no better cigar on the market today.
