{"id":2497,"date":"2013-09-16T13:30:48","date_gmt":"2013-09-16T19:30:48","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.inthehumidor.com\/?p=2497"},"modified":"2013-09-16T13:30:48","modified_gmt":"2013-09-16T19:30:48","slug":"cigars-and-countries-of-origin","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.inthehumidor.com\/?p=2497","title":{"rendered":"Cigars and Countries of Origin"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The other day while sipping a fine single malt scotch and enjoying some nice <a href=\"http:\/\/puroexpress.com\">cohiba cigars<\/a> I was wondering which country made the best cigar.\u00c2\u00a0 It really is a loaded question in the fact that many different companies make brands from multiple countries. The Dominican Republic\u00c2\u00a0 can produce cigars that are really mild or really peppery or spicy like the Opus X from Fuente.\u00c2\u00a0 Nicaragua mainly produces a spicy, gritty, and raw tobacco flavor.\u00c2\u00a0 Honduras is known for the Jamastran strain that Camacho uses in the their full line of cigars, a strong and spicy full bodied tobacco.<\/p>\n<p>This bring me to Cuba.\u00c2\u00a0 In my opinion they posses the most unique and full of flavor tobacco on earth.\u00c2\u00a0 The smell, texture, and flavor nuances tease the pallet with a multitude of different flavors and bodies of smoke.\u00c2\u00a0 Every time I light up a cigar from Cuba I can tell it&#8217;s from there, there is a certain smell and flavor characteristic that is not like any other cigar.<\/p>\n<p>While I smoke cigars from all countries and have my favorites brands, Cuba remains the favorite country for me. Partagas, Bolivar, and Ramon Allones are some of my favorite brands of Cuban cigars.
