(Miami, Fla.) – Crux Cigars has launched the Union Fire,\na new line of cigars that will be available exclusively through the Famous\nSmoke Shop.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The name Union Fire\npays homage to the Union Fire Company. It was a volunteer fire department in Philadelphia, formed with the assistance of Benjamin\nFranklin in 1736. Known as the \u00e2\u20ac\u0153Bucket Brigage,\u00e2\u20ac\u009d it\nwas the very first such fire company\nin the colonies. In the days when wooden structures were highly\nvulnerable to fire, the formation of this volunteer company of citizens was\ninvaluable. With leather buckets, a\nfew hooks, and ladders, their success resulted in many more fire companies forming, and the results were immediate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00e2\u20ac\u0153When we partnered\nwith Famous to create\nthis blend, we wanted\nto link it to the history of Pennsylvania <\/em>in some manner. After some research, we decided the history of the Union\nFire Company was a perfect match for\na new cigar line. The cigar itself is a rich and smokey blend of Nicaragua\ntobacco,\u00e2\u20ac\u009d <\/em>shared Crux Cigars President Jeff Haugen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
