Gran Habano is quickly becoming one of my go to brands. The masterminds behind Gran Habano are blending some of the best stuff out there right now, in my opinion. With the new G.A.R. and Cabinet Selection along with the blends that made them famous such as the 3 Siglo and #5 Corojo, George and father Guillermo Rico continue to break the mold with new ideas and blends.

Today we have the 3 Siglos for our smoking pleasure. The 3 Siglos stands for the three farms that the Ligero leaves hail from. I have smoked quite a few of these beauties since their release and it is one of my favorite smokes today. The 2 banded vitola has a very nice looking white band with a smaller band that says “3 Siglos” across it. The cigar is well constructed with very small veins.

Initial light up brings out some herbal smells as well as cedar and grass. The cigar smokes very well and produces a strong grey ash that could easily stay on long after 2 inches. The cigar is not as light as it looks, this baby packs a punch. After 30 minutes of smoking it I could feel it, this is not a mild cigar. Pepper flavors come alive in the last 3rd of this smoke and it gets very good. I nubbed this cigar as it was great to the last ash. I would recommend this cigar to those who like a med-full bodied cigar with good flavors of coffee and pepper.
