Diamond Crown has long been a Super premium in the cigar world.  Produced by Tabaculera Fuente in the Dominican Republic, this creation truly is a work of art.  Although mild this cigar brings out a lot of flavor you wouldn’t think possible in a Connecticut shade.

The construction is flawless as is the norm with the Diamond Crown label.  I believe this particular cigar has some age on it but I’m not sure because it was gifted to me by my good buddy Jeff.  The cigar produced lots of smoke which brought out flavors of cream and butter.  The cigar remained mild but very flavorful all the way to the nub.  The burn had some issues as you can see in the pictures, and it even cracked down the side as is shown in the picture below.

I would recommend this cigar to those who have deep pockets and good palates.  The cigar is great but definitely out of my price range.  Some great cigars in this same class of flavor and construction but much better prices would be the Ashton Classic Magnum or the Chateau Real Gran Templar.
