Let me first say that this was my first Don Pepin Garcia experience and boy did it deliver! Don Pepin Garcia cigars are a royal, full-bodied smoke with a rich and spicy taste. Created by Cuban-born master blender José Pepin Garcia, each cigar is blended with Nicaraguan Corojo & Criollo long-filler tobaccos rolled in Nicaraguan Corojo wrappers. The cigar burns evenly with a bold, balanced, yet non-overpowering Continue reading the story "Don Pepin Garcia – Blue Label Chruchill"

I am a big fan of the Rocky Patel line of cigars and just love the RP Sun Grown and 1992. This is another one of Rockys master blends in his value line of cigars. This cigar is well constructed and box pressed. It has a pretty dark wrapper and nice aroma. When i first lit this cigar Continue reading the story "Indian Tabac Super Furete Robusto"

Acid Gold Cold Fusion Tea
Country: Nicaragua Length/Ring: 6 3/4 x 44 Shape: Lonsdale Wrapper: Natural Strength: Medium MSRP: $5.50
My rating: 3.5 stars
To start out Acid cigars are not like any cigars on earth. They are infused with herbs and botanicals and have a distint smell and taste. Most people either hate or love Acid cigars. I for one love them, they are not as powerful as a full blown flavored cigar but have just enough flavor and aroma to make them unique. This Continue reading the story "Acid Gold Cold Fusion Tea"

Gispert Churchill
Country: Honduras Length/Ring: 7 x 54 Shape: Churchill Wrapper: Natural Strength: Medium
MSRP: $4.50
My rating: 4.5 stars
This is one of my favorite go to cigars. I would even be willing to put this above the Macanudo in smoothness and mildness. It has to be the most mild cigar i have ever smoked. When you first pull this cigar out of the wrapper you can tell its quality. The hairs of the tobacco is very easily detected and the construction Continue reading the story "Gispert Churchill"

Carlos Torano Signature Series
Country: Dominican Republic Length/Ring: 5 x 52 Shape: Robusto Wrapper: Maduro Strength: Full MSRP: $3.00
My rating: 3.5 stars
This cigar was good on the inital light up. I really enjoyed the complexity that this medium to full maduro possessed. As the cigar burnt down it started changing a bit of flavors from peppery to woody. It was quite pleasent and would purchase this cigar again.

Caridad TorpedoCountry: Dominican Republic Length/Ring: 6 1/2 x 52 Shape: Pyramid Wrapper: Natural Strength: Mild
MSRP: $1.00 My rating: 2.0 stars
Caridad Torpedo cigars are all Dominican long-filler cigars made with rustic U.S. Connecticut wrappers. Mild taste, easy draw, and a nice aroma are some of this cigar's better qualities. The cigar was cheap to start out with, i use them as my "throw away" cigar for when im grilling outside or just cleaning out the storage closet outside. They are also really good to take with you Continue reading the story "Caridad Torpedo"

These are a great quick smoke that come in a very nice square red tin. When you first light these tiny cigars they fill you with the same flavor as the larger reserva real cigars just in a smaller form. These are great smokes for when you want a break smoke at work or if you are commuting home. The result is a well-balanced, medium-to-full-bodied Continue reading the story "Romeo Y Julieta Reserva Real Minutos Petites"

Gurkha Master Select This is a great smoke. They are hand-rolled from fine tobaccos grown in the Cibao Valley of the Dominican Republic, expertly blended with an aged mixture of Nicaraguan and Honduran long-fillers. The gorgeous, dark yet not maduro, silky Habana 2000 wrapper imparts a rich, creamy flavor with a hint of spice and pleasant, finish with a burst of flavor.

Where to Buy: Tinderbox, Cigars.com, Cigars Direct I bought a box of these cigars from JR Cigar a couple of weeks ago, they came with a free ashtray. How awesome is that? Anyway, this is a good medium to full smoke with lots of leathery and coffee notes. The draw is medium to good and the smoke is a nice white cloud. I would recommend this smoke, they retail for around $4.00 a stick. I give this cigar a 7 out of 10

Where to Buy: Tinderbox, Thompson, Cigars.com 5 Vegas Torpedo I smoked a 5 vegas torpedo on Saturday night and it was good. The 5 Vegas line is a good line crafted in the prestigious La Aurora factory in Santiago, Dominican Republic. So you know its comes from a good production line. The draw was good and the cigar is constructed very well. The only con i have with this cigar is the texture and smoke quality are a bit sub par.

Gurkha Legend Maduro Where to Buy: Tinderbox, Cigars.com, Cigars Direct My rating: 5.0 stars
Gurkha Legend Maduro This cigar has to be one of the smoothest cigars i have ever had. They are not the cheapest at around $7-$9 a stick but in my opinion are worth it. It starts with a silky dark maduro wrapper and the oils glisten off of it fresh out of the humidor. When you first light it up you can taste hints of pepper and notes of coffee.
